MIA

I have no excuses on where and what I've been doing for the last 3 months. I cannot believe I got so out of the blogging mode. Right now, I'm in North Carolina visiting my family. We will be here until July 8th.

What's new with us you ask?

Sean just turned 7 and will be starting 2nd grade. Mackenzie will turn 6 next month and will start 1st grade. I was accepted to the Dental Assistant program at the local college in Modesto, so I finally have an end in sight of school. Atleast for the time being.

I was just released from 3 years as Beehive advisor. I loved my calling and loved working with the YW in my ward. They are an awesome group of girls! Just as I thought I would have a little break and be able to enjoy Relief Society, I was called to 2nd counselor in the Primary Presidency. I am very excited to get back from NC so I can get started working with 3 fabulous ladies and all of our cute little kids in the ward.

That's pretty much all for now. I look forward to getting back into the blogging groove. I think since I will have a lot of down time in NC, I will be able to post more.

GAME

So, here's how it works: the first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the year a gift from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well. Before you leave your comment, write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going (or copy and paste like I did). Then come back, let me know you're going to play and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift! Just the thought of receiving something in the mail that isn't a bill is delightful! Come and play!!

Fast Forward

I am so ridiculously lame at blogging. No excuse. I'm gonna just throw in a few pics from Christmas and anything else that has been going on and call it good....I've got some really cool things going on in the month of February, so I can't wait to share :)

All Sean wanted from Santa was the Magic Tree House books.....all 36 of them. Santa is such a good guy!! Even with an entire room full of gifts, Sean kept going back to his bookshelf and looking at all his books! I am so grateful he loves to read!

All Mackenzie wanted was "a baby in a bed that you put on your back" and that, she got!! She has told me plenty of times when asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she always says a mommy! I am so glad.

Of course, the kids, and really everybody, got a ton of cool things for Christmas. It was just a nice, relaxing day with lots of good food! We even watched Mamma Mia. I need to do an entire post just on Mamma Mia...to say the least, the KIDS are HOOKED! My kids go around the house all the time singing all the songs. It's hilarious!!

Nothing really important happened in January...atleast not that I can remember at the moment. Stay tuned to my post about my "special someone"!!!! (Coming Soon!)

Before seeing their stash!

Before the gifts...I just thought it was decorated beautifully!

Sean's most prized possessions!

Mackenzie loving her babydoll!!!
